The Atlantic Dog is part blog, part shop, part chaos — all heart.

We’re based on Florida’s First Coast, where the sand’s always in our car and the dogs run the show. This all started with Jojo, a cattle dog–pit bull mix with a crooked smile and a survivor’s grit. He was left at the shelter three times before we became his fourth and forever home. At around 18 months old, he’d already seen too much — but gave us everything. Jojo lost his fight with cancer, but he sparked something bigger.

Now there’s Trevor — our new sidekick, chaos agent, and beach bum in training. His mom was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Georgia, not knowing she was pregnant. On April 24, 2025, Trevor was born into a surprise litter of 10 puppies. He’s part Lab, part ???, and about to be Embark-tested for the truth.

We created The Atlantic Dog to share the real side of life with dogs:

• The good.
• The messy.
• The weird stuff they eat when you’re not looking.

What We Do

• 🐾 The Blog – Real talk about rescue life, training trials, and health tips with a side of sarcasm.
• 🛍️ The Shop – Beachy, dog-friendly merch you won’t find in pet stores. It’s all print-on-demand (no waste!) and a percentage goes directly to canine cancer research, in memory of Jojo.
• 🐶 The Mission – Celebrate second chances, support dog health, and fund research to give more pups more time.

We’re building this from scratch — just like Jojo rebuilt his life with us.
